About a year ago I gave in and accepted a friend’s request to be her neighbor on Farmville. Wow! That began a year of adding one game after another and becoming hopelessly hooked on these social games.
After a while I began to notice that there were lessons to be learned by playing these games. They actually have some redeeming value – imagine that! I decided to share some of the concepts here; maybe someday I’ll put them all together into one large article. It should be called something like, “Everything you need to know you can learn playing Facebook Games.”
• We need each other
• The more one has the more one can get
• Need to spend $ to bring in more $
• Need experience to unlock new things for us
• Start small – can’t do everything / help everyone at once
• Slow and steady gets goals accomplished
• Can’t help everyone in one day – spread it around
• Give and it is given back to you
• Keep backup for ‘trouble’
• Often what you are looking for is right in front of you
• Things are often where they ‘belong’ or naturally fit in
• Sometimes you just need to push through – look for a different way of accomplishing the goal
• You can learn something from every situation
• Shortcuts rarely work [those quick posts links rarely work in Farmville]
• Put aside own needs to help a friend in need
• Try new things so a friend won’t need to do it alone

Who am I?
9-8-11
After a few attempts at blogging I am determined to make this work. Writing is in me and is screaming to come out. Who am I? Online I am known as Chedvah, which is Hebrew for my name, Joy. I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I ran a ptr site, Lavender-N-Lace Mails, for 3 years. I love facebook and am hopelessly addicted to a number of facebook social games. I love to cross-stitch, knit, crochet, and read. [I’m even learning to like the Nook my children gave me for my 50th birthday!].
